ABSTRACT

Recent trials have shown that Astralagus polysaccharide from Radix Astragli can influence oxidation, aging, cancer, diabetes, stress, infections and immunity in animal trials. In this review, the effects of Astralagus on immunity, cancer and diabetes and its potential in veterinary therapeutics is discussed.
