ABSTRACT

Bogoyavlenskiy AP, Berezin VE, Tolmacheva VP, Khudyakova SS, Ogneva AV Effect of influenza A immunogenic glycoprotein on antibody in hens, Onl J Vet Res., 29 (10): 593-598, 2025. Immunogenicity of influenza A subunit in glycoprotein micelle glycoside Quil A and Freund's adjuvant were compared with formalinized whole virus. The results showed that immunization of the influenza antigen preparations induced variable levels of antibodies at 14, 21, 35, 77, 98 and 300 days postimmunization. Immune Stimulating complexes (ISCOMs) were the most efficient antigen formulation of purified FPV glycoproteins stimulating a higher level of humoral immunity than whole virus or glycoprotein micelles. ISCOMs also stimulated a high level of antibodies in egg-yolk. Egg-yolk antibody titers were correlated with the level of serum antibodies.
