ABSTRACT

Boroomand Z, Razeghian I, Asasi K, Mohammadi A, Noohadani AH, Pathogenicity of avian infectious bronchitis virus IRFIBV32., Onl J Vet Res., 30 (8): 466-480, 2026. We report pathogenicity of infectious bronchitis IRFIBV32 virus from broilers. Tracheal tissue from field outbreak of respiratory disease was processed for virus by amplifying 5' part of S1 gene of spike protein and sequenced. Nucleotide sequence had ~95% identity with 793/B strains. We found embryo  curling and stunting after 3 passages. Infected allantoic fluids were nested by RT-PCR for ELD50 and tracheal cilia by carboniferous pigment granules in infected chicken inoculated by 105 ELD50/ml of the virus was evaluated. We found the isolate could induced ciliastasis, mild respiratory rales and difficult breathing with gross lesions in trachea and kidneys.
