Referees comments Microfilaria

Can you really do this? I would have thought author would wait to name until adult has been recognized? I really dont think there is enough here to publish. Can you give something a name having only identified microfilaria? Mackerras refers to unidentified MF in rats when no further detail is available. The details provided in MF measurement seems inadequate- compare Spar and Varryhese 1975. Fig generally replace in detailed line drawings. Figures are inadequate. In absence of further knowledge re adult/life cycle, Some molecular data would be useful to show phylogenetic relationships. Finally manuscript isn't well written.  Images are poor quality. Live drawings as per Mackerras would show features more clearly.
